How busy is the traffic around Lowry?

We advise using public transport via Metrolink whenever possible. 

If driving, traffic on the roads around the Lowry can vary depending on activities that day. Both roads and the car park do get exceptionally busy if Manchester United have home fixtures and you should allow extra time. 

We add known traffic concerns to our pre event emails sent to bookers, so please read this carefully for further information. 

If driving then give yourself as much time as you can. For those who arrive early, we have a number of pre-event offerings in place: a retail and coffee shop and our Pier Eight Bar & Restaurant for those wishing to make the most of your visit.
