What does Get Creative mean at the Lowry?

Our Learning & Engagement team provide high quality, accessible and inclusive workshops and projects for children, young people and families. We deliver an exciting programme of activities that aim to build creative skills whilst promoting confidence and wellbeing in a safe and welcoming environment where children, young people and families can get involved and get creative! 

What activities do you run for children and young people? 

We deliver weekly drama, visual arts and dance workshops during term time for young people aged 11+. (Some programmes are specifically for Salford young people) For more information contact our Learning and Engagement team at: getcreative@thelowry.com 

What activities do you run for families? 

We deliver a programme of weekly creative activities for families including: Babies Playtime for families and children under 2, Little Creatives for families and children under 5, and Crafty Families for families and children under 11. All workshops are free and bookable via our website
