You don’t have to pre-book your tickets for our ordinary steam or diesel operating days, but during school holidays and other busy periods is definitely advised. When you arrive, you’ll visit our booking office and we’ll issue you the olf-fashioned card railway tickets like you would have received if you’d travelled from here back in the 1960s.
For all of our dining experiences, footplate rides and Santa trains you do need to book in advance though. You can do this through this website.
